Drawing Experiment #1

Here’s the experiment summary: assemble an odd number of people, blindfolds, and drawing materials. Ambient noise should be below the noise level of a regular speaking voice.

One of the group becomes the narrator, who reads instructions to the group which assembles into pairs with one partner blindfolded.  The instructions go something like this:

SCRIPT
Narrator:  No one speaks but the narrator.  (Pause)
Narrator:  Please pair off.
Like a bride and groom.
Or like a prisoner and guard.
Or like a pitcher and catcher (Pause) (Narrator holds out a clear bag of papers)
Narrator:  Please pick a paper out of this bag and read it to yourself.  Note the number on the other side. (Pause)
Narrator: One of each pair, please take a blindfold from the table and blindfold your partner.  You’ll be the guide.
(Pause)
You can find the rest of this script under Documentation to the right.

And here’s some video from the experiments.
